Description

Mae Barnardo’s Cymru yn gweithio gyda Llywodraeth Cymru i gynnal cyfres o ddigwyddiadau hyfforddi rhanbarthol ar Gamfanteisio Rhywiol.

Nod yr hyfforddiant yw rhoi cymorth i fynd law yn llaw â Cudd: Adnodd Addysgol am Gamfanteisio Rhywiol. Lansiwyd yr adnodd hwnnw ar 3 Rhagfyr 2015 yng nghynhadledd ‘Cadw dysgwyr yn ddiogel ̶ diogelu ym myd addysg’.

Mae’r hyfforddiant ar gyfer ymarferwyr addysg mewn ysgolion, awdurdodau lleol, sefydliadau Addysg Bellach a rhanddeiliaid allweddol eraill sy’n gweithio gyda phobl ifanc 14-18 oed.

Er hwylustod, mae sesiynau hyfforddi 3 awr yn cael eu trefnu’n lleol ac mae nifer o ddyddiadau a lleoliadau ar gael.

Barnardo’s Cymru is running a series of regional training events on Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE) with the Welsh Government.

The training is designed to support the bilingual on-line CSE resource launched on 3rd December at the Safeguarding in Education Conference.

Training is aimed at education professional in schools, local authorities, FE institutions and other key stakeholders working with 14 to 18 year olds.

For convenience, the 3 hour training sessions are being organised on a local basis, with a number of dates and locations available.

Cyfyngir y lleoedd i 20 ar gyfer pob sesiwn a chaiff y lleoedd hynny eu neilltuo ar sail cyntaf i’r felin. Mae’r sesiynau am ddim a darperir lluniaeth.

Diben

Nod yr hyfforddiant yw helpu ymarferwyr addysg i ddeall eu swyddogaethau a’u cyfrifoldebau mewn perthynas ag atal camfanteisio rhywiol ar blant a diogelu plant a phobl ifanc rhag cael eu cam-drin.

Yn benodol, bydd yr hyfforddiant yn eich helpu i ddefnyddio 'Cudd: Adnodd Addysgol am Gamfanteisio Rhywiol' wrth gyflwyno sesiynau. Bydd hynny’n sicrhau bod pobl ifanc yn:

  • Deall y cysylltiadau rhwng dewis a chanlyniadau e.e. pa mor rhwydd ydyw i gael eich tynnu i mewn i gamfanteisio rhywiol a pha mor anodd ydyw i ddianc rhagddo;

  • cydnabod sefyllfaoedd sy’n peri risg a ffactorau sy’n gwneud pobl ifanc yn fwy agored i eraill camfanteisio arnynt yn rhywiol;

  • Siarad am yr effaith emosiynol a chorfforol y mae camfanteisio rhywiol yn ei chael ar bobl a dangos empathi at deimladau eraill;

  • Nodi’r prif bobl y gallant droi atynt i gael cymorth, dod o hyd i ffyrdd o leihau’r risgiau a llunio strategaethau i’w cadw eu hunain yn ddiogel.

Purpose

This training is to support education professionals in understanding their roles and responsibilities in relation to preventing CSE and protecting children and young people from abuse.

It will equip you to deliver sessions using ‘Hidden - An Education Resource on Sexual Exploitation’ so that young people:

  • Understand the links between choice and consequences e.g. how easy it is to be drawn into sexual exploitation and how hard it is to get out of;

  • Recognise risky situations and factors that make young people more vulnerable to sexual exploitation;

  • Talk about the emotional and physical impact of sexual exploitation and empathise with others’ feelings;

  • Identify key people they could turn to for support, find ways of minimising risks and plan strategies to keep themselves safe.
